6. Soapy water
Soapy water has been very effective in treating mange mites on dogs. The alkaline nature found in soap helps a lot in preventing the spread of these mites and potentially kills them. Just use soapy water when you wash your dog. Repeat this twice a week.
Your pet may not love it but it’s really effective. Take a lemon, and slice it with a peel and boil it. Soak it overnight and rub it off using a sponge in the morning. Finally, apply the solution on your pet’s skin to get rid of the mange.
8. Neem Oil
Neem oil is a very effective remedy for treating several skin infections in humans and pets. Just massage it on your dog’s skin and make sure to use the medical gloves while you massage.
9. Lemon-Garlic Rinse
This is another great cure for your dog’s mange mites. You need 30-40 chopped cloves of garlic and approx. 10 lemon skins along with one whole chopped lemon. Now, add four to five liters of water to it and bring it boil.
Allow the solution to cool and then apply it on your dog’s skin. Repeat the process for ten days.
